Love Live! Announces Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Anime Adaptation!

Following in the footsteps of the Love Live! franchise's μ’s and Aqours, Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is getting a TV anime! Although details on the broadcast date and story have not yet been released, a teaser visual was revealed along with character visuals of all nine members.



Nijigasaki High School Idol Club was first launched in 2017, featuring individual idols who attend Nijigasaki Academy in Odaiba, Tokyo. Their debut album, "TOKIMEKI Runners", was released in Nov. 2018, and they have also made appearances in smartphone game Love Live! School Idol Festival All Stars, with each of them vying to become the No. 1 school idol.

Its members are: Uehara Ayumu (CV: Onishi Aguri), Nakasu Kasumi (CV: Sagara Mayu), Osaka Shizuku (CV: Maeda Kaori), Asaka Karin (CV: Kubota Miyu), Miyashita Ai (CV: Murakami Natsumi), Konoe Kanata (CV: Kitou Akari), Yuki Setsuna (CV: Kusunoki Tomori), Emma Verde (CV: Sashide Maria), and Tennoji Rina (CV: Tanaka Chiemi).

Kingdom Anime Confirms New Creative Team!

Popular adventure anime Kingdom has confirmed its new creative team and released a dynamic teaser visual of Xin! Imaizumi Kenichi will direct with character design by Abe Hisashi, and series composition by Takagi Noboru. Based on Hara Yasuhisa's manga of the same name, Kingdom is set in China’s Warring States period.



It follows two young men, one a slave hoping to become a top general and another an emperor aiming to unite all China. Season 1 aired back in 2012, with Season 2 following in 2013. The upcoming season will adapt the Alliance arc. Kingdom Season 3 is slated to air in Apr. 2020.
