WALD, known for its VIP styling kits for luxury German automotive brands like Mercedes-Benz, has just given North America another reason to hanker for the Suzuki Jimny.
Straying from its affinity for dressing up sleek sedans, the tuner has chosen the compact Jimny 4×4 and given in a rugged makeover kit.
The Black Bison Edition kit is something between a G-Wagon and a Jeep Rubicon, with its Over Fender Kit (an 8-part aero kit that makes each side of the Jimny 30mm wider), LED light bars, JAPAMERICANA Grille, bonnet scoop cover, smoked indicators, spare tire cover, roof spoiler, and chrome accents. Each body piece is also available in the choice of either ABS or FRP.
Fully-kitting out your Jimny won’t come cheap, however, as the price for each part runs from ¥22,770 JPY ($215 USD) for the basic components, up to ¥78,747 JPY ($745 USD) for the main parts like the hood and the light bar. Head over to nengun to see the full build.
In other automotive news, Ferrari’s second-quarter earnings are down 60 percent.

Valorant’s Newest Hero Has Some Adorable Robots
Killjoy is the latest character coming to Riot’s team shooter Valorant, and she’s a German hacker with what sounds like some useful skills. She has access to a turret and a nanoswarm grenade that should shake up the game’s meta. The most important part, though, is that she has some adorable robot friends that join her in battle.
These include a cute alarmbot that hunts down enemies and explodes once it gets close enough, and the stealth drone, a rolling machine on wheels with a surprisingly expressive face. Just look at its mechanical ears perking up in the concept art below. Even the turret is charming: it reminds me of a friendlier version of the mousers from TMNT.
Check out her abilities here:
Alarmbot (C) – Equip and deploy a bot that hunts down enemies who dare to get in range. When my killer robot friend reaches its target, boom goes the idiot. Alarmbot not only deals damage, it temporarily leaves affected targets vulnerable to double damage from all sources. Hold equip if you want to recall your deployed bot.
Turret (Q) – Sometimes it’s good to plant some roots. Deploy a turret that fires at enemies within its 180-degree cone. Hold equip to recall the deployed turret. With my turret, I can hold an area pretty well myself while the others cover the angles I can’t.
Nanoswarm (E) – OK check this out. Throw the grenade. When it lands, it goes quiet. Then, activate the Nanoswarm to deploy a damaging swarm of nanobots and catch the enemy crying. I love this trick!
Lockdown (Ultimate) – You’ll have to adjust your timing for the windup, but once you get this device going, it detains all enemies caught in its radius for about 8 seconds. Yeah, enemies can destroy it—except I built plenty more.
