Izo

Izo is the former commander of the 16th division of the Whitebeard Pirates. He is also the older brother of Kikunojo. Before becoming a member of the Whitebeard Pirates, he was a former resident of Wano Country, and the heir of his father's dancing school, Hanayanagi School (花柳流 Hanayanagi-ryū?) in Ringo. Like Kiku, he is also associated with the Kozuki Family, namely Kozuki Oden, being one of his retainers. Izo is a cross-dressing man who wears a pink and purple kimono. He has a pale complexion and hair tied in a way resembling that of a geisha. He has a loose, long strand of hair that hangs over the right side of his face. He also carries another Japanese-looking, light-red spotted indument tied around his waist.

After the timeskip, he is shown to have a small scar over his right eye, his hair appears longer, and he has second shorter strand of hair hanging over the left side of his face. During the Wano Country Arc, he wears a light-colored kimono bearing the simplified version of the Whitebeard Pirates' Jolly Roger with an added flame motif, as well as a dark cape. Izo also wears dark-colored gloves. When he was a child, he was seen dressing as a geisha, wearing a kimono with a diagonal spot design. He had the top of his head shaven, with his bangs parted and the back tied up and pinned. He was also seen holding Japanese fans and dancing. Izo is very loyal to the Whitebeard Pirates and Whitebeard, as he was willing to risk his own life in order to save Ace from execution during the Battle of Marineford. Prior to joining the Whitebeard Pirates, Izo was loyal and very close to Kozuki Oden after he found both him and his younger sibling Kikunojo on the streets of Ringo dirtied and hungry. Even 20 years after Oden's death, Izo is still very loyal to him, having returned to Wano in order to take revenge on Orochi and Kaido. Izo appears to value a glorious and meaningful death over his own life, stating that he missed the chance to have one too many times, and is therefore ready to lose his life in the raid against Kaido's dominion over Wano. Izo is extremely adept with his pistols, especially in close quarters combat. With a single shot, he was able to break a sword in half as well as injure its owner by shooting it just moments before it slashed him. As the Scabbards prepared to attack Kaido, he is shown disarming King of his sword with a single shot. He wields a pair of flintlock pistols. During his time in Wano Country, he was seen wielding a sword in order to assist Oden to fight against Ashura Doji. He was also seen carrying a sheathed sword by the end of the Battle of Marineford.

Yamato

Yamato is the daughter of Kaido. She often presents as a man as a result of her aspiration to emulate the legendary samurai Kozuki Oden, and is widely referred to as Kaido's son. Yamato is tall, though not nearly as tall as her father, being slightly over twice Luffy's height. She has long, light-colored hair that is tied into a ponytail at the back, which turns dark further down and ends in rectangular locks similar to her father's. Her horns are similar to Black Maria's, in that the pair of horns are atop her head, and start out light-colored but then turn darker.

She has large eyes with prominent eyelashes, and wears hoop earrings on her ears. Much like Oden, Yamato wears a large nio-daisuki on her back. She wears a pair of hakama pants and sandals, and had exploding cuffs around her wrists with a short chain attached to each of them until Luffy removed them. When in disguise, she wears a hannya mask over her face, which has a wig of an extremely long and wild mane attached to the top and a long goatee attached to the bottom. She wears a multi-colored kimono with a diamond-shaped design on both sides of her chest; she wears the kimono traditionally when disguised, but after revealing her face to Luffy she ripped off the sleeves and made the garment more form-fitting. Yamato holds immense admiration for the legendary samurai Kozuki Oden, emulating every aspect of him, including his appearance, goals, and even his gender, reasoning that, since Oden was a man, she herself chose to become a man. Yamato wishes to fulfill Oden's dream of reopening the borders of Wano Country. Due to her admiration of Oden, she often confuses herself with the samurai. Yamato is a very powerful warrior, with Black Maria noting that bringing her back to Kaido's fortress after she had left would be a difficult task. Yamato possesses monstrous strength resembling her father's, being capable of wielding a large and heavy kanabo and using it to knock out Ulti, an Ancient Zoan user and one of the Tobiroppo, with just one blow. She was able to physically match Luffy's strength with relative ease, even when the pirate increased his strength exponentially with Gear Second and Gear Third. Yamato countered a punch from Luffy with her foot, resulting in a powerful collision that destroyed much of the surrounding wall and ceiling and blew back the Beasts Pirates around them. Due to her large size, she is capable of easily picking up the average-sized Luffy and holding him with just one arm while running. Yamato is quite fast, being able to lunge forward with blinding speed to attack her targets as well as outrun members of the Beasts Pirates chasing after her. She was also able to completely elude the pirates around her in the aftermath of her clash with Luffy and take him to the attic without anyone seeing them. Yamato wields a giant kanabo club much like her father, though her kanabo is studded and more slender, while Kaido's is spiked and a bit thicker. In addition to the kanabo being a powerful blunt weapon, Yamato has masterful technique with it, being capable of moving it to counter Luffy's rapid attacks with little effort.
